What a magnificent blossom ! I am, this spring, trying to grow the "Golden Berry", Physalis peruviana (from seed) the fruit I found in Walmart. I associate this with the Nightshade family - some of which are a curse in these parts. But with all our rain, they may drown! Some are 5 gallon buckets safely in the garage, but there looks to be any number of problems growing the things. Keep you posted.

Most nighshades have very pretty looking blossoms, if you only look closely, even tomatos and potatoes. Theirs are just a bit smaler. ;o)
