LOL, that's priceless -- Sugarfree softdrink wont do a lot for the bodyshape of a yard slug, as it has none no begin with. :) Is that a mushroom or a marshmellow to go with it?

We call it a puffball in English. When young like this and slug free, they can be sliced and lightly fried and served on toast as a breakfast dish. You need to add a bit of salt and pepper, and maybe the sauce of your choice, as the taste is pleasant but bland!

I suspected it, but next to dropped junkfood at this angle it could also be razor cream, mozarella, wall filler foam or anything remotely similar in structure.... ;o)
