Nice picture, beautiful sense of scale and composition.

Conceptions of God have changed over the years, this seems
like an Old-Testament or 'Big Brother' type God, whose
attention it would be largely ill-advised to attract.

Thats the problem with monotheism, bored and without peers to play with, a deity might get to focussed on their little antfarm.

Art Deco monuments can be overwhelming anyway, but they can also have pretty amusing details if you take the mind from the aperance as a whole -- like the outer corners of the beam below that knight for example. That looks like giant rolls of bathroomtissue ;o)
