I like the drama in this. Also how the lines in the sky seem to reflect the lines of the landscape.

Yes, but don't forget that we human beings are also part of nature and nature is part of us, so we naturally posses these same creative abilities (perhaps on a smaller scale, which is basically what you are saying). Anyway, YOU chose to frame and expose this photo this way and not another - and I happen to like the way you saw this scene!

I agree; we - humans - are creative creatures, the way our brains work - amazing. I love art, architecture, engineering, technology. But sometimes after hiking, climbing, seeing sunrise, rainfall etc the nature overwhelms me, strikes me with its beauty more than creations of our minds and hands. And photography is just my inferior attempt of keeping this impression for longer.
And yes, I really like it when my photos affect someone else :)
