Ooh, now it's rain on top of snow, here. Then, a big freeze is scheduled for Wed and Thur, so driving will NOT be fun.

Big chill in Central Europe, No snow in the Alps. Here, a normal cold winter but blue skies and no snow either. Madrid is the highest capital city in Europe and is situated centrally and far from the sea so gets an almost continental winter most years - cold and dry. People from England say to me; 'Ooh, Spain in winter, you lucky b.....d!!!' ... Little do they know!

Ha ha! Diane! It's turnips and winter kale for me! I think there is a LOT of snow now in the Alps.
