Now that the footwork is out of the way we can move on to the stick. The stick should be roughly 3 1/2 feet long. Hands should be spaced roughly a foot apart, with your dominant hand at the top of the shaft right near the head, and the bottom hand around 2/3 of the way up the shaft. By spacing your hands this way, you will be able to maneuver your hands and goalie stick in a manner where you will be able to save all shots.
