Finally I saw the last of Peru's 3 sacred animals the snake, the others being the Andean condor and the puma which I had both seen earlier on this Peru trip. This snake we were told was venomous. Seeing it at Intipunku, The Sun Gate, 2,720 m and the beginning of Machu Picchu made it even more magic!
