I think I used a little bit of everything from episodes one through 18 in this image. I am really happy to learn about the hue option of the fuzzy select tool - huge time saver when compared to the lasso tool and quick mask technique.

Thank you both for the encouragement! I had a lot of fun with this picture beginning outside in the sun with my camera to finishing up (and learning a lot) with GIMP.

btw, I made this image with a width of 1024 pixels so you could download the original if you like and use it with a black background as a wallpaper on your computer. This is what I have currently on my laptop : )

Nice detail to use pictures with 1, 2 and 3 flowers. That really adds to this triptych.
