Dear Crossmaker,

I like(!) the picture. What I learned from other's is to improve the picture is using unsharp mask.
To prevent grain or noise in the background you shut increase the value for treshold.
I intend to give constructive(!) comment.

I think I would also try a version with the ship on the horizon out of the way (clone/erase tool).
