Thank you, Martina. These Oaks start on the hillside behind my house and, after a somewhat graceful curve, point toward the earth. They still have leaves, but I am just waiting for them to come crashing down.

Velvety Nursery logs still standing...
Seens you dont live exactly in a low humidity region. Just take care they can not fall as surprise on somebodies head or some important possesions. I am sure there are a lot of little animals enjoying them just they way they are.

Right on all counts, Sonja. And as they are hanging over the road, I am concerned for the safety of the cars driving underneath. They are not on my property, though. I will try to contact the proper person and share our observation.

Some of the branches have a graceful sweep to 'em.... They're neat covered in all that moss.
