Think I could make it as a phodographer?

Got to luv standard poodles with their intelligence and graceful movement. The silver ones are the least common.... A beautiful portrait!

Okay, seriously. I think you should well be able to do pet portrait artist as a side job if you have a mind to do so. You like dogs, they -- also those of other people -- seem to like you too, and you got a good eye and a digital camera that manages to do nice enough shots of a living thing without a flash in regular outdoor circumstances. That should meet the basic needs for giving it a shoot.
