Patrick McCray. July 4th, 1949-Feb. 16th 2018. Born on Independence day, he needed no further ques to establish a life long style. He was my best friend for thirty three years. He helped raise my kids. When he was broke, we fed him. When we were broke, he fed us. We had a thirty year nonstop discussion about Spirit. We worked together when we were young. We played music together till we were old.

On his last night he said, "I'm going back to sleep again, and I'm not going to wake up". He was not afraid of death. He was on his way to meet with his guru, whom he never met during this life. He died with a smile on his face. Rest in peace, Pat. I'll miss you.
