There is a great Community Centre where they have a paddling club which is very affordable. I think it costs $57/month to join, which then gives you access to all their boats- kayaks, canoes, etc. You can go out on the water as often as you like.

Since renting a kayak from a commercial boat rental place will coat you around $50 for an hour or so, the Paddling Club is a great deal!

hmm, I think you do, but when we joined in the Summer they had either run out of cards, or their little laminating machine was broken, so we were just 'written into the book'.
The dude at the desk said that was the main thing though- 'If yer not in the book, ya don't get to paddle'.
