Charming... like you! (:
How long has she been gone?
and i can see the resemblance with you
and i do understand you with the time confusion mister atom, one cannot count the time missing a loved being, some days are OK, some days are painful as it was yesterday... just like all emotions in life, they take over you, not you over them... specially when it comes to time
Yes, b, you are right. Time.
It's many years now without my dad and yet, there are still some times I cry myself to sleep because I miss him so. One time several years ago, I was beating myself up a bit (for some reason, I guess I thought I was being silly all those years later)for still getting so outwardly emotional and the oddest thing happened--was reading something, don't remember what, and I came across this from Tennesse Williams:
"To the person of feeling, grief is a permanent wound, not a transient state. It will take up residence in the human heart and will last as long as the heart endures."
I stopped feeling silly after that.

well, my mother (a good Catholic saint of a woman, whom I'm lucky enough to still have) would say this: "It's the holy spirit lookin' out for us". ;)
Atom, that means so, so much. And likewise . . .
