Soft and sharp. This flower presents a confused image to the world. A gentle top greets the world with a splash of color. But those sharp leaves underneath say, "Back off world and leave me alone!"
I had a grand time yesterday at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix. If you find yourself in Phoenix Arizona this is a great place to visit. Many, many flowers and knowledgeable docents who can tell you much about them. But try, unlike me, to remember to put on sunscreen. |
