An oral panoramic x-ray, or dental OPG, is an image of the maxilla and mandible that includes all of the teeth and some of the maxillary sinus area. The OPG device is built to spin around the patient's head while being scanned and produces a complete x-ray that aids the dentist in making a more accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
