It is very nice. The simplicity seems to be very effective. Not normal to have the subject towards the top of the image but as Rolf might say "here it works".

Thanks dhania & pete. Yes, I probably should have cropped the bottom a little, but this seemed to work when I first started playing with it.

I like the subtle move towards the top. It draws the eye in like it is looking for something near the middle. The space the cup is sitting on is pristine. Did you clean it up any in the GIMP? The gradient is a perfect match as well - good choice.

Joseph, the cups are sitting on a some white card - I think it's size is A2 or A1. No cloning or spot removal in Gimp was necessary. I also created a very rudimentary light tent and bounced the flash off one of the walls to diffuse it a little.
