What kind of plant is that?

And is it an entry for the challenge? Then set the tag "mtg-monochrome".

Rolf, only just started watching your screencast (which is absolutely fantastic by the way). I am only up to episode 15 so I didn't realise there was such a challenge. But now I know, yes it is!

I seem to remember it was a young dandelion clock (not sure of the technical name!).

Thanks, if you ever want to use one of my images in your show it would be great to get your expert touch on one of them (my GIMP skills are still very limited as I have only just started using Ubuntu).

[I tried your expert B&W conversion technique on another of my images but because the original RAW image had a considerable amount of shadow I really struggled to get it to work. The version of the image I posted here has heavily processed]
