Thanks for the comment! The stripy pattern- yes, I have thought about this but do not know what could cause it (http://www.23hq.com/15°C/photo/6493733?album_id=6432349). It is slightly better now at a different photo development place.

Oh it's from film? Could be from the scanning. Did you scan it yourself?
If it's film, do you see the stripes on the film (using a magnifier)? If so,
it most likely from the film processing (development).

Ah... No, I ordered a CD from the shop that developed it. I sometimes scan photos myself but not that often. I'll have a look at
the negatives, yes! Thanks!
