Hallo Martina, das ist ein Mosaik aus Kolibrifedern aus Mexiko aus der Fruehkolonialen Zeit. Ich war aber in keinem tollen Museum sondern bin nur an einer oeffentlichen Photoausstellung des MPI vorbeigegangen..

As Martina is asking: hummingbird feathers! This is a photo of a photo only in a mosaic from Mexico and this is the sky apparently - I don't know what the whole mosaic looks like but it's showing St John beneath that sky. Very lovely sky!!!)
