Yes, does not look too good.. this one.
Certainly the seagulls here are quite vicious, if only natural.
They go for unnatural food too though nowadays, you can get robbed of food just walking around, out of your hand. But I'm going off topic!

Depending on species, gulls can aquire all sort of food. Here at Lake Constance the tiny yearround inhabitants, Black-headed and Common Gulls are also bold as brass when it comes to begging or even stealing from tables at waterfront restaurants, but the large winter visitors tend to rather break into carcasses of fish and birds rather than flocking to any processed food as long humans are still close to it.

I think in the UK it's a problem with too much waste lying around, overspilling bins etc, and people dropping food where and when they like sometimes...
