Sapporo trip - February 2008
I tagged along with my friend Bill on a trip to Sapporo, organised by a bunch of JETs. The cynicism and obnoxiousness of JETs must have an effect on the environment when they are gathered in numbers, because it barely snowed the entire time. Oh well. I got to see the yuki matsuri and eat ramen at Higuma and go snowboarding and then to an onsen.
Oh, and we did tabehoudai/nomihoudai at the Sapporo Beer Garden too. (No photos of that -- if you want to see what drunken JETs look like, it's not like there's a shortage.) (Not that I'm on a high horse or anything; I got so fucking drunk that night.)
