TJ, I know you don't feel like you mother cares about you or that all she does is get on your case. But she really loves you and wants the best for you. And in her mind that's not the best. I'm a lesbian & my partner has a 22 yo gay son. It's been very hard going because you want the best for your kids,and you don't want them to get hiv+. you worry alot. just what your mother said that she is always thinking about you. She wants the best and she loves you. And even if your a gay parent with a gay kid you still want get nervous and want the best for the kids.
