Anyone else seeing a face in the negative space, here? (Hint: squint.)

:o No idea where the face is...

Really, Mick ? I think he either means that the sea put upside down is a gnarly male bust with a prominent white frothy eyebrow, or the regular coastline around the tip being a regal and pointynosed poised old lady with a tall bonnet on which the farm is located. Of course the landscape looks also quite intriguing without seeing that old Gaia and Neptun couple like puzzle pieces.... :o)

The island is the eye. The inlet is the nose. The smiling mouth is the whitewater going away from the shore. The gestalt makes the sea happy to greet the land in a friendly embrace. The line in the yin and yang symbol comes to mind.

It's easier to see in the thumbnail.

Yin and Yang generate each other. Fullness only makes sense against emptiness. The shore is the dance which defines both the land and sea. Your photo shows this. It has the power to enlighten. I like that it runs right down the middle of your composition.

Ah, the joys of pareidolia! Obviously Creeksong found an other gentleman that is in the water the classic end up it seems. I first saw the queen like head land, from the thumb in the widget already, but had actively to look ofr the negative dude he mentioned and could see only a face turning it neck up and brow down. Now I also can see his idea of the male face.

Creeksong palming his forehead! How could I have missed the queen hidden in the positive space?! This is like the classic illusion of two faces separated by one line, and a reminder that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. Lessons can be right in front of our face, but are missed if we don't see them. The guru is in the ear of the listener. :-O
