It was Benjamin Franklin who originally said, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest” and Tej Kohli agrees with him. The Tej Kohli Foundation believes that all children in India must complete their elementary education if India’s dreams of a better future are able to be realised. Having lived and studied in India, this is an issue especially close to Mr Kohli’s heart. He also thinks that the key to raising a country’s living standards is through nurturing children’s talents. As such, the Tej Kohlli Foundation has begun supplementary programmes that are aimed at developing specific skills and to support underprivileged children, enabling them to join higher education. The lost art of telling the time and tying shoelaces.
