Looks more like a Dowitcher of some kind than an OysterCatcher!

Nice picture though, they're both hard to capture.

Das es sich um einen "großen Schlammläufer" handelt (Dowitcher) glaube ich nicht. Dieser müsste einen vollständig schwarzen Schnabel haben.
Eventuell ist es ein "Short-billed dowitcher" (kleiner Schlammläufer) - dessen Schnabel ist tatsächlich rot/schwarz und sieht einem halbwüchsigen Austernfischer ähnlich.

Yes, that sounds about right to me.

Oystercatcher bills are not nearly that delicate,
also (if I remember correctly) the lower mandible
is slightly larger than the upper mandible.
