[2008-10-26] Alligator Habitat on South Padre Island. This alligator seemed to think he would have Marsh Hen for dinner but the bird never came close enough to it. I moved the photo frame in so that the head of the alligator would stick out. My two friends were next to me when I took this particular photo so I included a background black and white photo of them pointing at the alligator that I took about 5 minutes later. The camera as usual was my Rebel XT. I was using the 300mm zoom lens for all 3 photos.
