Catch me if you can! - Holocaust Memorial Berlin

I gave my new X100 the first chance to take "real pictures" and went to the Holocaust Memorial. It is a strange place and people use it in a lot of different ways. This kid played between the blocks with his siblings.

The image is straight out of the camera, no post processing.

Interesting picture, needs no processing as far as I can tell.

I have tried to copy your high-contrast style, but cannot.

This is not much high contrast, isn't it? The pillars are medium gray and I let the sky blow out (deliberately!!!!! :-) ).

I probably expressed that badly, there is a lot of contrast between subject & background.

Like this one: http://www.23hq.com/rstein/photo/3937535

The subject almost jumps out of the frame in comparison to the background.

I am looking out for such stuff. ;-)
