The interface then allows the spectators to wipe the view clean of everything but the advertisements, signs or logos. All that remains is the blanket of advertising that covers the entire city. Artist: Peter Friedl Title: The Zoo Story</p> <p style="margin-bottom: 0px;">This following text is a short resume from the Documenta Catalogue.<br /> Read the original <a href="http://www.thezoostory.de/">here</a>.<br /> This giraffe died on august 19, 2002 in Qalquiliyah Zoo, when Israeli forces in the wake of the second intifada moved into the city. It is believed that the noise from the shootings made the giraffe, Brownie, panic and run into an iron bar. It bumped his head and collapsed to the ground. This caused Brownie to die, as a giraffes heart is designed to pump blood upwards. A lion, a zebra and a baboon also died in the zoo.
