Correct inline-links for images in groups
When an image is part of a group and you use the "more sizes" link to get the html-snippets for it, the href link in it still points to the single image in the user's stream. Would be nice to have an option to link back to the image inside the group — currently you have to edit the link yourself.

Ideally, we would want to simply upgrade our licenses from 2.0 to 3.0 with effect on all content on the site; making it much simpler to navigate licensing terms going ahead. I'm unsure whether this is allowed though and will need to investigate further.

If not, we'll need to figure out logic for 2.0 and 3.0 co-existing, which may take some time to complete.

add a like button
It would be nice to be able to like/vote a picture (a la 500px.com).
Not an integration to facebook nor g+, but, within 23hq, just a way of saying you like what you see (easier than to always leave a comment!) + could be used by your ranking system...

+ it could also be nice to have a "your best/fav" / portofolio section with your best photos (maybe publicly ranked?), a la 500px : 23hq could then be used at the same time for storing your pict, for sharing your pict, and show-casing your best images...

Enable CORS
23hq developers, could you enable cors ? (http://enable-cors.org/)

This is essential for any browser-based image processing e.g. using HTML5 canvas to process pixel data.
I'd like to get the dominant color from my images hosted on 23hq.com, but i get "Unable to get image data from canvas because the canvas has been tainted by cross-origin data." error.
At the moment the only workaround is to use a proxy, which is not ideal.
I think it wouldn't be too complex to include CORS headers.

I'd be very thankful if this could be resolved.

First thanks to Steffen for making my plus-account possible despite of the former paying issues.
Now I would like to share an private album with over 800 pictures/ca 4,7GB.

1. The first thing I tried was to generate a Zip-File of these Photos, but it cannot be done in Original-Size because of the 600MB-limit per Zip. The medium-Size-Zip is very small. It only gives an resolution of about 700pixels and makes the 4,7GB to about 220MB.

2. I tried it using the Send-Function. In the newest Firefox it's not possible due to script bugs and in Internet Explorer I get, regarding the fact that I marked all over 800 images, only the first about 100 to send via emai/link - I believe this is also because of the 600MB-limit

The next thing I would try will be to use the send funtion from the big album but just choosing about 90 images (so I will do that 9 times) to get 9 "send-to-links" of original size.

Can you, 23, support me in my question? Is there a better way to share the over 800 photos, because the 700pixel-size is pretty small. Will there be an upgrade of the 600MB limit in near future? Thanks in advance

Edit: I took the option with the "9times" - seems to be working

I'm migrating from flickr and am really enjoying the simplicity & clarity of the site.
I just wanted to check on where to find the 'steal this theme' link on users pages.
I would like a dark css theme but can't seem to find the theme link.

Hey guys,

There's still no password-protection for album, and frankly nothing planned. There are two ways of sharing a batch of photos in 23:
- For ongoing sharing with specific users, there are photogroups.
- For a one-off sharing, use the Send button and generate a URL to share.

I agree with you guys that it's time to start looking at a mobile version of the site -- think we started one in 2007 when I got the first iPhone, and never got further. Five years down the line...

I would suggest, though, to start by focusing on the consumer experience and frumble mentioned: Build something simple for the visitors of 23?

That all being said, I suppose one could come up with a more mobile friendly version of their photo site by styling aggressively.

The problem with mobile apps is that you have to invest in several different app ecosystems. If you target iOS, then the Android people get all sniffy (and vice-versa), but it is hard to target both. And it is a significant investment in time and money.

Of course, there is nothing stopping someone from writing their own app against the 23 API.

OK, I even did this last time because the simple uploader without flash wasn't clickable, but thank you. ;)
It's not the "real thing": With mailupload my photos are not categorized or tagged and I don't get a *link* to them. So I still need to go to the full site.

Just mail the images.

Go to http://www.23hq.com/frumble/a/mailupload and add as many target emails as you like. Snap the pic, send it to any of these addresses.

Mobile Site
I want to use 23hq for high quality photo sharing to Twitter on the way but there is no iOS App (or for any other platform) and I have to use the full desktop version of the site. This is very frustrating. ;(
I propose a mobile version of 23hq with only the important features for uploading, categorizing and sharing. Just ignore all the social stuff. The mobile site would "run" on every mobile platform and you serve all users of iOS, Android and webOS. This would be very, very comfortable and would your users help to can always use 23hq for sharing photos.

I have finally managed to sit and focus on translation. Sorry for delay. Unfortunatelly I am bit disorganized due to vacations period. I saw about 300 untranslated messages in the system, yet left most because couldn't find reference in the website. Context of the sentence is relevent when it comes to polish:/ Also havn't found instances of 3 messages in translation. Provide me with an email if you want to see screenshots of these pages.

sorting in badges
You offer to sort the thumbnails by upload time, by creation date, and random.
This means that you get your pile most of the time 'reverse chronological'.

I would like to be able to sort by reverse upload time, i.e. in forward chronological order as they have been uploaded or taken.

Or by the order they have in an album.

I would like to search for intersections of tags. The comma listed list of tags seems to unite the tag selections.

(I dare to ask about exclusion of tags.)

Furthermore, search by album would be a nice option.
