If you can't see the shadows, use another browser. It works perfect with Firefox and WebKit-based browsers.

I made this mainly because the laptop I borrowed after my old one broke is in widescreen, making giant gaps appear at the side of my screen, and also because I have way more photos now and I want to see more of them. I've fiddled about with this a lot but now I think I'm done.

Thanks to Steffen, who's made a very transparent and intuitive system, and Phil. You should probably have a go at this too if you haven't.
