Feedback & Bugs
Hi guys,

I'm gonna chime in here. I agree with both of the points of view: Yes, do the polite thing if at all possible. And yes, we need to let admins remove photos from a group. It's on the to do list, but it probably won't be ready for another week or two.

Feedback & Bugs
i agree with you. it is more polite to write something to the photo owner. but what is a group gets realy big ? and you have 10 of these photos a day ? and if you have more than one of these groups ? i have other things to do than to write such requests every day. for me it would be nice to have a delete button / link and the optional posibility to write a short message.

Feedback & Bugs
I would not be nice to remove a picture without notice. A polite request should do it. But there is a point. If someone floods a group with lots of equal looking or of topic pictures a group owner should be able to remove photos.

Feedback & Bugs
one or two times i can make a request. but if you have more groups it takes to long. it would be better just to have a button or link to remove one picture.

Feedback & Bugs
Yeah, public is public, sure. But it might not be transparent for a person who didn't post the photo to the group that private is no longer private. Also, the user need to be a member of the given group, which introduces extra difficulty.

Feedback & Bugs
It's not really the upload, its the way the smaller versions are generated. I don't think the original should be changed at all. I just think a little more sharpening is needed for the down sized images.
(thanks Steffen, I've added my thoughts to the thread above)

I always wondered how that could be, never thinking that it could be the upload service itself could have an effect on this. I too wote for a bit more sharpening :)

Feedback & Bugs
Also, there's no real way of finding new photogroups, or at least I haven't found any. When I open the main photogroup page, there are my groups listed and the ones that are popular. How about the ones that are not popular? Maybe some search by tags, description, or something like that... Just a suggestion...

I tested the "textbox too wide in 'post your reply'..." issue on another box running IE 6. The problem still exists. And it only happens in "Photogroup", not in other part of 23 like comments or discussion.

Wow, we've really gone beta testing crazy ;-)
About the first one, that's not a photogroup reg mail -- that's a site-wide mail telling you that a new user has registered at 23.

The second issues has been fixed, but requires some downtime to effectuate, so it's pending at the moment.
