First 100 completed
I say whoever wants to make a "100 Snapshots: List Two" Photogroup first, should go ahead and do that. That is, I vote for splitting up the lists.

I'm finally going out to take photos right now.

First 100 completed
Think I'll have a go at beginning to tackle list number 2

Do we need to post it here or just use the link you so kindly found clvrmnky?

I like the other ideas put forward but they're a little too literal for me. I like the free ranging nature of the livejournal lists very much

100 (portraits) of hands is a nice one :-) - imagine statues... people... maybe five-finger-paws... art... henna.. gloves...

First 100 completed
BTW, I love the "100 portraits" ideas, actually. Also, I saw a book in a shop window recently which was a photo essay on hands. 100 portraits of hands might be fun. These ideas are a little less abstract, which can be good.

First 100 completed
The LiveJournal page where this seems to have sprung from has (or had) a second more challenging list. I can't seem to find it today, though.

Of course, we can come up with our own list. Not like I'm anywhere near completed. Haven't taking a photo in months.

[Edit to add:]

Found them:

2nd list: http://community.livejournal.com/100_snapshots/424915.html#cutid1

3rd list: http://community.livejournal.com/100_snapshots/593076.html#cutid1

the LJ folks are referring to these as "100 Snapshots: List Two" and "List Three", respectfully.

First 100 completed
I'm sure I could come up with a 2nd set of words......I'd be much less likely to want to do the challenge though. I think the ideas here are looking good

First 100 completed
Knutsen: I wasn't thinking of, say, 100 portraits... (although I'd love 100 macros if I had a macro lens or mini cam), but rather thinking about a second set of 100 words to make a 2nd challenge

First 100 completed
(I never have submitted a photo here, but maybe I will be very soon, so I'd like giving some input...)

I like the 100 topics and I think it would be very challenging to combine these 100 topics with another restriction. Like that one important element of the photo has to be a living being. Or like that one important element has to be a technical or at least very modern (built or created in this century) object.

These are my two cents... :-)

Now I wonder, is anyone up to a second set of 100 topics to survey? What kind of subjects would you like, find interesting, challenging?

Great idea
Hi,
in August last year, somebody showed me their photos. And he took every day a picture. It is called the 365 challenge and some of us still do it.
I tried to write a story to each photo but had to stop last Sept because I was off the computer and never found time to write the stories but I still make a photo every day.
This would be something for you than as well. :)
And welcome here.

Great idea
Just what I need to get me out there. I'm going to start carrying my camera around all the time, and each day I do I will go out with the intention of fulfilling one of these words.

Maybe I'll make a story or album. I'll be sure to post some/all back here.
