Nach dem ersten Photo stellte ich fest, dass diese Seite eigentlich viel spannender ist. ;-).Für Einbau und Montage der Karte ist auch die Originalanleitung vorhanden.

SGI Octane
Die Maschine ist eigentlich so genial und kultig, dass ich sie am liebsten behalten würde. Diese Octane ist mit einer 400MHz DualCore CPU ausgestattet. Die HW kann dank ihres genialen Aufbaus bereits unkomprimierte HDTV-Streams verarbeiten. Leider ist keine entsprechende Digitizerkarte enthalten.
// This is a true classic. The SGI Octane can deal with uncompressed HDTV streams thanks to it's backplane. (Former SGI engineers founded NVIDIA, go figure...)

Links sieht man das Mainboard mit allen AnschlÃ¼ssen, rechts die Erweiterungsplane. Oben ist eine GraKa installiert, die sich, glaube ich, "S6" schimpft. Oder wars die S8?.Die Maschine hat leider eine Macke: Das OS läßt sich nicht installieren. Ich denke es liegt an der CPU. Eine 300MHz SingleCore-CPU ist vorhanden.
