You can't get down to the overlook plattforms exposed to spray in the coolest months, as the icerain makes it to slippery to access securely in regular winter fashions for sunday walks, and in case an ice pillar brakes of the falls it would be dangerous even to more sensibly clad people. But pics like this you can get from the rim with a good zooming lens fortunately.
