I should have added to the notes that this is on the Southwest Peninsula Coast Path and that the coastal town in the distant haze is St Ives. Virginia Woolf set her 'To The Lighthouse' in Scotland but it was based on this lighthouse at Godrevy (she lived for a while in St Ives).

Wonderful scene! That lighthouse looks so tiny in the vastness of it... Wonderful wildflowers in the foreground, too =) Great catch!

Hi remmelt and thanks. The lighthouse is much bigger the closer you get to it of course. I don't think it is a functioning lighthouse any more!
