Automatic geotagging from exif

The subject says it all... GPSLatitude / GPSLongitude from EXIF should automatically be converted and used as tags on your photos when uploading.

I just found an interesting software at (also a photosite, but you don't have to use it just to get the software).

The software "locr GPS photo" (for Windows) allows you to tag your pictures by entering the streetadress or by scrolling over a googlemaps map. It sets the geotags in the exif-header and that works fine with 23.

If you use a gps-receiver with a logger function like the WBT-201 you will also be able to automatically add the gps-info in the exif-header. I didn't try that yet, because I have no receiver, but I guess I will buy one soon :-).

mmm I still prefer Google Earth + iTag ( ). :)

Thanks for the advice anyway. :)

sorry but how does it work exactly? i've just tagged some of my photos using 'geotag' with data from a gps logger, and now the latitude/longitude can be seen in EXIF:
however these where not converted into tags when i uploaded the photo. do i need to use some other format in order for the 23 to automatically recognize the coordinates and turn them into a tag?
