Shots for and from the videopodcast "Meet the Gimp!".
This is in fact a quite distorted image due to treatment by Hugin. But in my opinion this emphasizes the whole mood of these buildings: sharp, straight and pointed.

The perspective is stunning - I don't feel it's distorted much.

If it does not feel distorted, then I have succeeded. The picture is meant to look natural instead of showing obviously corrections.

Thanks for the comment.

How many images is it composed of? Did you use a vertical line?
Serge Gielkens March 29, 2008, 12:51 PM
It is only one image. I used Hugin to correct the perspective distortions, indeed as you guessed by defining vertical lines. Because I had to take the picture from an awkward perspective, the resulting image was in fact distorted again but, as it turned out, in a constructive way.
