copying colour negatives

littletank   April 09, 2008, 01:25 PM
You may have noticed that I have posted a few images made from colour negatives. I could not find any really useful information on how to do this so I have done my own thing. I was asked if colour negatives hold as much information as colour positives. I do not feel qualified to answer that question so I have posted a not very good portrait. The image represents about a quarter of the negative and what looks very much like noise on the face is, in fact, freckles. I thought the freckles might give a guide to estimating detail, what do you think?
