A village so smal it belongs to a municipality with seat in an other village, which is Reichling -- In some ways weird as it is west of the Lech and historically due to lack of bridges long ago so removed culturally, their original dialect is allemannic. Should rather belong to Denklingen or Schongau, but our bureaucrats live in their own world. Then again, it slowly becomes a residencial community for those needing a rural family home in expanding greater Munich.
Their little rococo church in the main settlement is listed on the romantic road church map, but ignored by most of the bus tours. Other than that it is just notable is it for being the site of bavarias first funicular train, but that is all gone and only lives in documents and a few concrete traces.
