Insects everywhere.
A dragonfly from last August, a Paddle-tail Darner (Aeshna palmata) I think.

Thank you! Their compound eyes make them very hard to photograph.

Marco, you are right, very hard to get them in flight.

I was a little disappointed with the sharpness, but given
how hard they are to capture decided to post anyway.

Needless to say, I am looking at faster lenses!

Thanks Mick, I took few more this summer.

The pose seems to be characteristic, they
tilt a lot like helicopters when they fly.
