Yes, a ground soft supporting like an expensive carpet, and so nicely maintained for a "Bannwald". The fallen log was just cut out and removed where it is exactly on the trail, the rest remains to rott. The walk along the Tisch between the boardwalks is one of the loveliest strolls for the feet in Baden-Wuettemberg, only the Federsee wobbly forest at Bad Buchau can beat it -- and the later is much to wellknown to be tranquil at any time.
