I recently emailed a batch of images for a new photogroup I've started. Presently set to 'invite only'
In the last 36 hours the images from that email have been multiplied many, many times - at present they've filled 22+ 'pages' of my 23.
I don't want to laboriously 'delete' anymore of these repeat images, nor do I want the clutter on 23
Any ideas what the glitch is, and how to get rid of these clone images?

See previous posts.
There are now 39 pages of repeat images on my 23.
I am no longer able to use 23 because anything I do upload is swamped by repeat images produced by this fault.
As a 23 'plus' user I'd be SO grateful if you can address this problem ASAP

Hi Helen
I'm really sorry I haven't been able to get to this problem before now -- the problem should be solved now though.

Thanks Steffen - problem of madly cloning iamges seems to be fixed.
New problem: using Safari, the server keeps on dropping the connection - something I've never encountered at 23 previously. I've emptied the cache, reset Safari, checked correct web address etc
Is there a problem with the web server's configuration?
I'm having to use Firefox temporarily. Help?

Strange; my Safari is working nicely. Which version are you on?

I'm on Version 5.0.6 (5533.22.3)
The problem seemed to occur just after I tried to do a masse removal 'select all' of the cloned images. Would this explain the anomaly?
ps unwanted images now removed via firefox and using a stubborn patience!

Stubborn patience can unfortunately come in handy at times. I think the Safary issue might be solvate by clearing the browser cookies for the www.23hq.com domain.

oh dear, the cloning of emailed images is happening again.
can you wave your magic wand and make it go away again please?
:-(
FYI it seems to happen if I send more than 5 images at once. Is there a recommended maximum amount / file size to prevent this from happening again?

You should be able to send a good batch of emails, so that doesn't explain it. For now, I have simply cleared our queue to make sure you don't see too many incoming files -- but if it happens again, I'll do a full debugging to find a good explanation.
