'external' members in photogroups

Kilessan   June 28, 2010, 08:23 AM

When I invite 'external' members to photogroups (i.e., by e-mail), it seems that some sort of 'light-weight account' is created for them.

Have those accounts some kind of expiry date, or do they stay in the system indefinitely? And how can they be deleted? For example, if their owners no longer want their email address stored at 23 or something like that.

Hey Robert,

We do store email addresses as a part of the invitation process -- mostly in order to be able to send notifications whenever new messages are posted and to allow 'external' members to take part on a level footing with the 'real' members (i.e. edit or delete their posts).

As with any user account/user information, external members can have their accounts and tracks removed entirely. Simply send an email to team@23hq.com and ask for it.
