Photos flipped

I noticed that there are a quite a bit of my photos from 2008 that have been rotated. Its really a hassle to rotate them back because that process takes a long time.
What happened to 23hq, that the photos were flipped sideways?

Can you give me some samples on which photos are flipped sideways? Is it limited to a fixed timeframe?

Steffen, Thanks for the reply but I spent a portion of the day using the "organize function" since they were all grouped together. The process took a few hours but its all fixed.
Really not sure what happened. But it was for a about 4 months worth of pictures in 2008. If it happens again, i'll let you know.
