Capital letters in tags

I find it quite annoying not to be able to have capital letters in tags.
"le Louvre" becomes le louvre, that is acceptable, but when Napoleon III becomes napoleoniii or Pont Alexandre III (one of Paris bridges) becomes Pont Alexandre iii, I find it really annoying and rather silly.
Are you planning on correcting that or is there a workaround? Becouse this happens even when you tag with inverted commas.
Re-reading this, I sound like I am in a bad mood, when actually, seeing poor Napoléon III becoming napoleon iii made me laugh!

You're right that it isn't a perfect solution; but it's by design. We have been considering whether or not to change the design, but this would require some pretty big changes. Basically, normalizing everything to lower-case is a pretty simple (and understandable) way to make sure that NewYork, nework, and NEWYORK is all considered that same internally -- and that users can find photos from New York, even if photographers have a slightly different way of spelling it.
An alternative solution is to have the tag normalized to "newyork" internally, but knowing that it really should be displayed as "NewYork" or even "New York"; this however, would introduce other idiosyncracies if we still wanted to ensure correct grouping. (Actually, our other products, Visualblog and 23 Video, take this approach and I'm not convinced it's superior.)
