Sorry, you won't be able to download more that 300 MB of photos at once.
How can i download my originals unless this works?

Hey Anders,
I wouldn't exactly call it an error -- it's a limition put in place since we found that most zip downloads of a certain size fail to be completed and they consume a lot of ressources on our servers. I've upped the limit to 600 MB now (but that probably won't do the trick in your case).
We've been toying with the idea of release a 23 version of Flump which is basically a tool for downloading photos from Flickr, but I'm unsure if it's the right move -- since Flump doesn't actually download any of the meta data associated with photos. Does anyone know about better photo downloading tools?

Have a look at Desktop Flickr Organizer. It can be used to upload and download. It even allows to backup and edit comments and descriptions.

So the limit is now 600 MB. That's the error I get: "Sorry, you won't be able to download more that 600 MB of photos at once.".
Is there another way I can download my album (in original size) ?

When trying to download a zip album in original size (small albums indeed), the web keeps "creating zip - please wait", forever. Are you have problems with the server? I've tried with my free account, and with a plus account, and the problem remains.

I just also got the feedback from some friends to whom I sent a (small) album, and also just tried it myself: "creating zip - please wait" in a death-loop ... Could you have a look at that? Seems that somethings needs a 'reset'... Thanks in advance.
Best, Jörg

Hey guys,
Awesome that you found an old thread to support this one. The problem was entirely new though, and should have been solved now. Have a go and let me know.

Not quite well. Let's see:
First try, user 1 (plus), zip album with original photos, the zip download had zero bytes.
Second try, user 1 (plus), same zip album with original photos, the zip downloaded OK.
Third try, user 2 (free acount), another zip album with original photos, 28 photos, death-loop again, "creating zip".
Still not working properly.
