Can't delete a comment

I can't delete a comment I made accidently upon a own photo. The verification window pops up and I click "OK". The comment vanishes but after a reload the comment appears again. Frustrating. ;-)

Frustrating indeed. Is the problem specific to this comment -- i.e. can you make a new comment and delete it again -- or does this happen again and again?
Can you point me to the photo and the comment so we'll be able to do some manual magic to make the comment go away?

Weird,
A few follow-up questions to track down los problemos:
- Are you using a mobile internet connection (which tends to change the content of web sites and introduce JavaScript errors)?
- Can you track down any JavaScript errors? In FF3 you can probably find this in Tools -> Error Console.

Yes, I'm using a UMTS (HSDPA) internet connection and my provider (T-Mobile Germany) is using a proxy server.
The error console is showing this error:
Fehler: Effect is not defined
Quelldatei: http://www.23hq.com/strike23/photo/3282638
Zeile: 2363
Fehler... error
Quelldatei... source file
Zeile... line

Yeah, I figured as much. The HDSPA proxies make some faulty assumptions about how the internet works in order to improve load times, and in doing so they produce some odd script errors. Even worse though, they also recompress photos so you're getting snapshot in about a fourth of the original quality through these proxies. (You can probably hear that I've been frustrated with my own connection...)
In any case, I've updated some stuff so you'll be able to delete comments now. There is still plenty of stuff that will not work -- i.e. reordering photos in an album -- but we may be able to handle that on a case-by-case basis.

Thank you very much!
I can choose from three options in a web based speed manager:
1. recompress photos (highest speed)
2. don't recompress... (standard)
3. don't use speed management at all
Well, I don't know what option three means (couldn't figure out the difference between 2. and 3.).

Understandable Iko -- but I'm actually taking it as a good sign that spam seems to fall back to the forums now instead of on photos. It means that the captchas and spam filters are working, and that I will simply need to apply them in the forum as well. It's on the list for this week.

Maybe give Team 23 members the option to mark forum comments as spam and make IkoTikashi a team member? Maybe only a partial solution but it should work.
