Need help sorting out how to use 23? Or have you discovered one of those nasty bugs?

Who wants to be a 23 translator?

Steffen Tiedemann Christensen Team 23   February 16, 2006, 06:28 PM

One of our favorite features at 23 is our multi-lingual support; that is the site has been created so it's very easy to integrate more languages. And, while our focus has been on adding more features rather than adding more languages, users have been offering to help translating. After much discussion, we've agreed to give them the chance...

So, for everyone who wants to lend us a hand in this effort, reply to this thread and let us know which language(s) you can help translating to. Then we'll mail you the instructions on how to start translating very shortly!

Thanks for your continued support :-)

I've just mailed the instructions for saigonian, but we're in the lucky situation of not needing Spanish translators at the moment. Thanks for offering though - i'll keep you in mind if a position opens for the spanish translation team...

Norske "siden" viser engelsk tekst. Som en førstehjelp kan man kanskje sette inn den danske teksten der i stedet for den engelske teksten.

Kan hjelpe til med å fornorske den danske teksten hvis det er av interesse.

Steffen Tiedemann Christensen Team 23   August 10, 2008, 03:35 PM

Bjørn,

I'm guessing that people would be even more confused about Danish than about English. I'd love to work with you on a Norwegian translation if you were willing to help out. And obviously you could start by using the Danish translation?

Bjørn   August 10, 2008, 07:49 PM

It`s very easy for a norwegian to understand Danish texts.

I can help you with a translation to norwegian (bokmål). Just send me the details.

Regards
Bjørn

Hi,

Although at least two persons mentioned (a while ago) they where going to translate the site to catalan, I can't see that option in the language selection tool.
Does anybody know if they are still on it?

If nobody is working on it, I'd like to do the translation.

Steffen Tiedemann Christensen Team 23   March 06, 2009, 10:01 PM

Yeah the guys doing Catalan translation got to around 40%, but after this I don't know what happened. I've send you some information about translating...

yousaidforever   July 13, 2009, 10:24 AM

about the translation thing.. there's a mistake in the german translation. it's if you're in a group and you get e-mails when there are new conversations.

Du erhälst momentan E-Mail-Benachrichtigungen über neue Unterhaltungen in dieser Gruppe. Falls Du keine Benachrichtigungen mehr erhalten möchtest, kannst Du sie hier abbstellen.

correct is abstellen, just with one b. ;)

/ edit:
okay, or it's abbestellen, but then there's missing an e. thanks to the person who sent me an e-mail.

Romain Pouzol   July 15, 2009, 08:03 PM

I can work on the French translation!

stegue   July 23, 2009, 03:19 PM

If there is any interest in german translation, let me know.

The issue achterbahnfahrt mentioned: newsletter abstellen? Lieber abbestellen.

Maybe we'll need a thread for every language to discuss if translation is fine...

IkoTikashi   July 23, 2009, 03:29 PM

"abbstellen" has been changed to "abbestellen"

To participate in this conversation, you'll need to join the group
