Kinda pretty as an adult .... A menace at the larval stage where the suckers are very destructive to trees. Nice catch!

I know!! Thats the very problem with the beetle imagos. I could never kill such a dapper little cutie, be it a nicely patterned Longhorn, an emerald glistenig jewel-like Rose Chaffer or a bright red and just way to cute Lily Leaf Beetle -- even a drab black Carrot Weevil with it's wee elephant trunk has someting extremely endearing......... sigh!
